The Food

The menus for the weekend are selected to celebrate local, seasonal food in Ontario and organic where possible. Many of the farms are just around the corner! Kelly thoroughly enjoys cooking for a crowd and sharing her love for delicious food.  Since her two young daughters have turned out to be stubborn, picky eaters, these retreats are a satisfying balance of adventurous, yet comforting food. Below are sample menus  from past retreats. Most dietary restrictions can be easily accommodated. 

Each retreat includes five meals. Friday night is often a meal that works well to greet guests throughout the night no matter when you choose to arrive. Sunday ends with a breakfast and takeaway bags where you can bring some baked goods home with you. Beverages and snacks are available all weekend long to keep you fuelled while you create!
