I just finished reading the lovely Purple Workbench article in issue 34 of Uppercase magazine. It was written by MF Miller with pictures by Natasha Bardin, and I still can't believe this is all happening.
I remember buying my very first issue of Uppercase Magazine from the workroom and feeling so much inspiration from each and every page of the beautiful (Canadian) magazine. Each magazine is such a work of art and a wonderful read. I'm so proud to be featured in this latest issue! Check the stocklists to pick up a copy (several Chapters Indigo carry Uppercase), or even better: subscribe for a year and support the magazine!
While there is a little buzz going on about Purple Workbench retreats, I figured it was a good time to announce the 2018 retreat weekends! As you know, I host three retreats a year: winter, spring, and fall. Space is limited to six guests and the weekend is without schedule (aside from a rough idea of meals) with the main goal of providing you with dedicated time for the creative projects you never get around to tackling. I serve five home-cooked meals that support local, sustainable ingredients; drinks and snacks are available all weekend long. There are two private rooms available and the large shared room has recently been separated into two rooms, each with a double bunk bed. Click here for a tour of the farmhouse.
So pull out your calendars and see if one of the following retreat weekends work for you! The 2018 retreat weekends are:
Winter: February 23-25 2018
Spring: June 15-17 2018
Fall: September 28-30 2018
Registration begins October 2nd 2017 when I can get myself organized after the 2017 retreats are over!
Thank you again for all the kind words and support about these retreats. I hope to craft with you soon.
