Last night my very last retreat spot for 2017 was filled up. Insanity. We're talking about the September retreat being full and I haven't even had the June retreat! I'm so proud of these retreats and so thankful for the support from everyone!
But now I need to start planning the June retreat!
I've been thinking hard about a menu, but honestly my mind couldn't make the mental leap for a very long time. Toronto's winter felt extra long this year and it was hard to dream about spring when my food delivery was filled with sweet potatoes and beets. The past few weeks have finally given me some glimpses of warmer weather: garlic chives, arugula; next week's food box even has rhubarb and fiddleheads! I've scoured my cookbooks, looked back on my old blog posts and imagined myself in front of the bbq.
With just over a month to go, I present to you this spring's retreat menu. For a long time I knew I would start with dumplings and end with crepes. I've now figured out the middle.
